My Rebirth

So..................................... my last post "Stay Tuned" was like almost 2 years ago. Some of you have wondered where I have been. Some of you probably had visions of me sitting on a park bench with a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20, popping Ativan like Tic-Tacs, hair not brushed and mumbling about Mercede hiding my shoes. Course a few of you would be thinking that I have taken all this time off to finish those dishes that Child Husband was always leaving me. Which would be near to the truth since one of the reasons I haven't blogged in so long was due to Child Husband. Let me rephrase that..............EX Child Husband. Yes I am finally down to four children. One less mouth to feed. Can I get a "Hell Yeah!!" You know I would never sit and whine about it , that wouldn't be me. Now bitching that is another story.

In June EX Child Husband moved out and then filled for divorce, by Aug 24th we were divorced. The 60 day divorce! Life in the fast lane. Ex Child Husband is engaged again, which is a very entertaining story but not mine to share email me and I'll tell you ;)

Here is what the rest of us have been up to...

We got to visit with my son Chris this summer! I hadn't seen him for four years. We had a great visit and ate some Mexican Spice Larvae!

Mercede is still obnoxious, who would she be if she wasn't!

Cheyenne is still flirting, she recently had a MU basketball player sign her shoulder! I'm glad she hasn't watched Rock Of Love or she might of had him sign something else.

Aysha is obsessed by Justin Bieber, pray for me! She is only 6 ya know!

As for me, I decided I will only date older men. Older than Ex Child Husband that is!

It's almost winter time and I'm going to be enjoying alot of laughter. You see Ex Child Husband sold his car and bought a scooter. I can't wait to see him riding this through the snow to work.

I pee my pants just thinking about it.

Is this a different form of Re Gifting?

This is the look on Cheyenne's face two years ago when she got a cell phone for Christmas. Unfortunately, the phone didn't stay her's long. She would call my sister at 1am and for some reason, I felt the need to carry two phones on me at all times. Then Child Husband took the phone. Well, she needs a phone. We don't have a house phone, so this year she is getting a cell phone again. Only it isn't a new phone, it is one I have had around, but it hasn't been used much. I'm going to decorate it with some bling, so it looks cool.

I'm wondering if she will have that same look on her face. Or will it be a shrug and a bland "Gee thanks Mom"

FRIDAY FRAGMENTS

Friday Fragments?

____________________________________________________________________________________

On Monday, Mercede's teacher called me because she wondered why Mercede was saying "I'm going to go home and smoke cigarettes." over and over... Hmmmmmmmm WHY could that be????
____________________________________________________________________

What do you get when you cross some electrical cords, electrical tape, Styrofoam cooler and a thermostat?

I'm not sure, but I will let you know when ,MacGyver Child Husband gets done with it. As long as it doesn't end up like his project with the pvc piping, flashlights and mini cam.

Cheyenne probably feels negleted that I don't post about her much. But that is cause she is the "good" one. Except for 6 days out of each month.
____________________________________________________________________________________

The 18th was my son Christopher's 25th Birthday. I haven't seen him in over 2 1/2 years. He lives in Ohio with his birth mom. My girls and I miss him and need to make a road trip to see him.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Yesterday I stopped by the Pennies in My Pocket blog and bought $150 worth of certificates to some great restaurants for only $12 dollars. That sale ended yesterday and I almost missed it because I stopped by her blog so late. I've got to remember to hit this blog early everyday cause I'm going to be eating good the next two months :)
UPDATE: Sale on gift certificates now ends on Monday.
____________________________________________________________________________________

I lost three pounds last week, but then Child Husband brought home Krispie Creme donuts and I ate 5 of them in 12 hours.

Please don't tell my peeps at

Today, Friday, Mercede came home from school with this shirt, I think her teacher is trying to make a point!

____________________________________________________________________________________

I think tomorrow, I should get rid of my puking pumpkin. I don't think he will be with us by Thanksgiving. What do you think?

Awareness

October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. I thought I would post some pictures of my girls when they were younger,as I don't have time to do anything else! lol

I also want to say that this is also National Breast Cancer Awareness month. I'm very fortunate to not know very many people affected by this. I do have one bloggy friend whom is a survivor. Give Kris a shout out, she deserves it!

Flood Safety

Yesterday was a day I taught my daughters all about the dangers of flooding.

First thing to teach them was that Flooding makes for good pictures.

Second thing to teach them is that you should always stay behind the police tape.(
especially when there is a policeman behind you while you are snapping pictures)

Third thing to teach them, is to go to the other side of the flooded road (cause the policeman can't get to you there without a boat.)

Fourth, don't read signs, they mean nothing.

Fifth, police tape don't mean a thing either.

"MERCEDE GET YOUR BUTT OVER THAT TAPE NOW!"

Six, get as close to the flooding as you can.....

and snap a bunch of pictures that will make your dad call you and scream at you about the harm your putting your kids in.......

also making sure you get a photo of how swift the water is.

Seventh, take a picture of the people on the other side of the road... and then wonder why they are now crossing the police line.......then notice that the policeman is now not there.

Eight, tell your kids to run like heck cause you heard the policeman either got a boat or is now taking the long route to get to you.

Nine, say a prayer for all those who aren't as fortunate as we are :(

Whining, Wii Fit, and OMGOSH Mercede NO!

Poor Cheyenne didn't get her special birthday post up :( But I took her out to eat, ate a spice I am allergic too and spent the rest of the evening curled up on the sofa, crying and whining for over 6 hours (not to mention the endless trips to the bathroom).

Child husband bought Cheyenne (and me) a Wii Fit. Wii Fit told Child Husband that his fitness level is that of a 40 year old, and he is only 28. That cracked me up. Wii Fit told cougar me that my fitness level is that of a 28 year old(and I turn 40 next week). Okay, I know that Wii Fit is a Liar. But let me bast in the glow for a bit.

Wii Fit did tell 4 of us that we were overweight (Wii Fit flew into the trash for a nap), only Mercede my not even 4'6, 76 pound girl girl was in "normal" range.

The really cool thing is that my 4 year old daughter did so well on one of the balance games. She got an Amateur scoring her first try (normally you just get Beginner).

I was able to crawl off the sofa long enough to get dirty foot prints on the Wii Fit pad, then I went back to whining.

I wonder if it will ever get used again?

In other news, school has only been in session for less than a week and Mercede just started High School. In that time, she has done so many things that I really want to beat discipline her for. I'm not going to go into them because they are so bad(even though ever one I tell about it laughs their butts off). But I knew the girl would be trying to see how much she can get away with. Last year on her bus, she mooned some kids and told them to "kiss her butt" (you know if I am tell you this story that the other ones must be really bad). How she did not get a bus ticket for that is beyond me. But her sister got a bus ticket for kissing her boyfriend on the bus. Course, Mercede has countless bus tickets, so guess she didn't need more. I could paper her wall with them. Her teacher and para's of past, thought the bus drivers were lying about her. I knew that if she can get away with something, she will. The teachers she had in the pass didn't let anything get by, but I'm afraid this year the teacher has no idea what she is in for. If I sign a note that the teacher can use duct tape, will that be legal?

Don't you wish you were all this cool!

Tomorrow is Cheyenne's 16th birthday so this weekend we grabbed my little SIL whom is Cheyenne's best friend to celebrate. I wanted the girls to have a memorable night so we spent it at........................................

the Laundromat, cause I'm such a rocking mom!

Now it ain't all that bad, cause between slaving away at washing and folding clothes (from 8pm til 1030pm), they got to play bumper baskets...

Now today, I did decide to take them out to eat. Yes, I know that nothing could top yesterdays fun. We went to HuHot where we were lucky enough to arrive during the busiest time, and got to sit outside with those little pager do dads. The girls posed for the pictures while the sun burned down on their vampire white skin. Hey nothing like getting a burn waiting for some food.

Mercede was bummed to find out that the cigarettes she found on the bench were empty, but she did enjoy showing us what she planned to do in a week when she turns 18.

We finally get in after obtaining 3rd degree burns, and the girls headed to the line to get their food cooked.

Aw girls, they so sweet, and the guys in back of them are cooking our food. Yum

I didn't realize they were cooking our food in sweat, until I took this photo, and the grill....are there even words??????

Mercede says"Thanks for the food that makes me poop!"

Aidan and Cheyenne dreaming of doing laundry again!

Hope Cheyenne enjoyed her early birthday weekend, cause all she gets tomorrow is a spotlight on my blog ;)
