My Rebirth

So..................................... my last post "Stay Tuned" was like almost 2 years ago. Some of you have wondered where I have been. Some of you probably had visions of me sitting on a park bench with a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20, popping Ativan like Tic-Tacs, hair not brushed and mumbling about Mercede hiding my shoes. Course a few of you would be thinking that I have taken all this time off to finish those dishes that Child Husband was always leaving me. Which would be near to the truth since one of the reasons I haven't blogged in so long was due to Child Husband. Let me rephrase that..............EX Child Husband. Yes I am finally down to four children. One less mouth to feed. Can I get a "Hell Yeah!!" You know I would never sit and whine about it , that wouldn't be me. Now bitching that is another story.

In June EX Child Husband moved out and then filled for divorce, by Aug 24th we were divorced. The 60 day divorce! Life in the fast lane. Ex Child Husband is engaged again, which is a very entertaining story but not mine to share email me and I'll tell you ;)

Here is what the rest of us have been up to...

We got to visit with my son Chris this summer! I hadn't seen him for four years. We had a great visit and ate some Mexican Spice Larvae!

Mercede is still obnoxious, who would she be if she wasn't!

Cheyenne is still flirting, she recently had a MU basketball player sign her shoulder! I'm glad she hasn't watched Rock Of Love or she might of had him sign something else.

Aysha is obsessed by Justin Bieber, pray for me! She is only 6 ya know!

As for me, I decided I will only date older men. Older than Ex Child Husband that is!

It's almost winter time and I'm going to be enjoying alot of laughter. You see Ex Child Husband sold his car and bought a scooter. I can't wait to see him riding this through the snow to work.

I pee my pants just thinking about it.

thoughts

Mercede, Mercede, Mercede (said to the tune of Marsha, Marsha, Marsha)

Why do you feel the need to put on your coat and back pack over your pajama's, while watching TV?

Photobucket

And why do you insist on wearing shoes that are over three years old?

Photobucket

Aysha, why won't you wear clothes in the house? And why are you laying under the cushion of that NASTY, UGLY sofa, your father picked up off the curb of a neighbors home ?

Photobucket

Child husband, please do the dishes! I decided I will not do them. I did fill the water for you (added half beach since I know your allergic to it). I'm going to add more bleach everyday til you do them!

The Pumpkin Festival from H...................................

Saturday, my only day partially off. I say partially because I am still on pager, and I get at least six calls from my staff on Saturdays. Today I slept in and then while I was still in my undies (I knew you would want that information) I emailed Rhea a few times about the trip my family were going to take to the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival. We finally got on the road and were two miles outside Hartsburg at 1pm. AT 2pm, we were still two miles outside Hartsburg. Mercede was throwing a fit in the back of the car. I had Cheyenne and Aysha spraying her with their squirt water bottles, as I couldn't reach her myself. We finally hit Hartsburg right before 3pm. Then I saw the population sign, I was scared. This town puts on a festival that has thousands of people that attend and THIS is their population.....

Photobucket

I did find out why it took two hours to move 2 miles, look at the detour they had us go thru..

Photobucket

We finally hit the festival and I spot a pumpkin snow man. So cute..

Photobucket

Then we have to drive thru, yes thru the festival!! Do you know how long it takes to move thru all these people walking in front of you?

Photobucket

Then I finally find a parking place next to the corn field and Children of the Corn scenes race thru my mind. I wait a few minutes in my car, to make sure Malachai doesn't pop out at us.

Photobucket

We have only two hours to spend at the festival because it ends at 5pm. It was two hours too long!lol Mercede was on a roll, and I had to call my husband to tell him I might have to sacrifice Mercede to "He Who Walks Behind the Rows". Mercede got lucky as I never ran into Isaac. We did find some pumpkins. Mercede had some choice words when she found out I wasn't going to carry one of them back to the car.

Photobucket

Their were some interesting sights to see like this dog, his name is Cajun (bet you couldn't figure that out)

Photobucket

Oh and they had funnel cakes, wait it gets better they had funnel cakes with lots of bavarian creme on top. I wanted to snap a picture, I really did, but we ate it too quick but I did snap this photo of Aysha with some traces of it on her.

Photobucket

Ok, so it wasn't all bad, I found these crafts, and I took the lady's card, so now my family will know what they are getting for Christmas (the lady's card, ha ha).

Photobucket

After Mercede and I wrestled near the Baptist Church (I was just trying to baptist her), we decided it was time to head home, well that and the fact it was 5pm. I noticed that we must of missed Malachai, as he had left some marks of his sickle in this pumpkin next to the corn field.

Photobucket

As we are pulling out of the corn field, we are made to detour to a country road. Then it ends and their are two ways to take, no directions on either way. Cars in front of me turn both ways, so I choose right. A car going the opposite way flags me down and ask if I know how to get to the highway. I was going to ask them the same. So after I go that way awhile, I turned around and went the other way, and then I turned around again and headed back the way I started.... and then I turned again, cause I stopped someone whom knew where to go. I traveled on this back road to "no where" forever. I can't see anything from the dust.

Photobucket

Then there was this bridge, yikes, are their words..

Photobucket

I really thought that this was going to be like those movies of them small towns that lure tourist to their deaths. But we did make it home. I stopped at Wal-Mart to buy Mercede a pumpkin to stuff her in, I also got a picture of the crafts the girls picked out. I had to take the photo by my favorite spider Bert. Bert is only one of the few hundred spiders that have taken over our home.

Out of the mouth of babes..

Today I sneezed, yelled something and then ran to the bathroom.

Aysha comes into the bathroom and says "Mommy, did you pee your pants?"

Me: "No, No, no I didn't. What makes you think that?"

Aysha: "Cause when you sneezed you said a bad word."

Well that is nice to know that it wasn't my action of running to the bathroom pulling my pants down!

Flood Safety

Yesterday was a day I taught my daughters all about the dangers of flooding.

First thing to teach them was that Flooding makes for good pictures.

Second thing to teach them is that you should always stay behind the police tape.(
especially when there is a policeman behind you while you are snapping pictures)

Third thing to teach them, is to go to the other side of the flooded road (cause the policeman can't get to you there without a boat.)

Fourth, don't read signs, they mean nothing.

Fifth, police tape don't mean a thing either.

"MERCEDE GET YOUR BUTT OVER THAT TAPE NOW!"

Six, get as close to the flooding as you can.....

and snap a bunch of pictures that will make your dad call you and scream at you about the harm your putting your kids in.......

also making sure you get a photo of how swift the water is.

Seventh, take a picture of the people on the other side of the road... and then wonder why they are now crossing the police line.......then notice that the policeman is now not there.

Eight, tell your kids to run like heck cause you heard the policeman either got a boat or is now taking the long route to get to you.

Nine, say a prayer for all those who aren't as fortunate as we are :(

Out of the mouth of Babes

While Aysha was at my parents house, this was part of a prayer over heard by my mother...

"Dear God, .........please may it not be boring..."

When she got home and I asked her what that prayer was about, she said "Upstairs church". Which translate to the sermon, cause "downstairs church" to her, is all about food :)

Vacation Part III: When in the Mountains,

Eat as the Mountaineers do!

What is this lovely plate of food you ask? The name of it on the menu says "Balls to the Walls".

Otherwise know as Mountain Oysters.

Tasty!! Taste just like chicken pork tenderloins (hmmm, what are Tender Loins made of??) Mercede enjoyed them.

My brother-n-law Matt looks satisfied.

My mom even ate some, even though I think it was because of all the peer pressure.I'm not sure my dad ate any as I can't find a picture of it. My husband was a LOSER and wouldn't eat any.

You know my sister Kristi was eating it up as this is another photo op for her (blah ha ha ha, Did I mention that I love my sister, but I am older so I get to be mean to her)

Now my nephew whom is very tiny for his 11 years of age, he is a very picky eater, he was hogging them all down, heck we hardly got any. I think his momma better start fixing him these tasty nuggets for dinner everynight!

Now Cheyenne had one, but as soon as she found out what it was, she was not too please with her momma. But if your wanting someone to try a Mountain Oyster, you can't tell them what it is, so you tell them it is a Fried Mushroom, then as it is settling in their mouth, you tell them the truth!

I had not told Cheyenne quite yet, dang if I didn't get that picture! Now with my youngest you could never pull the fried mushroom story cause she HATES mushrooms, but friend chicken nuggets, that is another story.

Now this is for my sister Kristi who had to leave before my Child Husband and I had caught enough trout to feed everyone. As Kids, Kristi and I loved to freak out people with trout heads and trout eyes. People thought it was weird we left trout heads on when we ate them. These pictures are for you Kristi, Sorry your weren't there to let your son make the kind of memories we used to make.

I leave you with the lyric's to a favorite Dr. Demento song of mine....

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

In the morning,
Laughing happy fish heads,
In the evening,
Floating in the soup,

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

Ask a fish head,
Anything you want to,
They won't answer,
They can't talk

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

I took a fish head,
Out to see a movie,
Didn't have to pay
To get it in

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

They cant play baseball,
They dont wear sweaters,
There not good dancers,
They dont play drums

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

Roly poly fish heads are never seen
Drinking cappucino in Italian resturants,
With oriental women, yeah

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum, (yum!)

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum

Fish heads fish heads,
Roly poly fish heads,
Fish heads fish heads,
Eat them up yum,

Yea..

Vacation Part II: Picture Overload

Child Husband and Aysha Brat on the Poudre River

Mercede doing her "Twentyone" hand thing, to remind us that she will be drinking this beer when she turns 21.

Don't worry, it wasn't Mercede's Beer but my sister Kristi's.

My Child Husband messed up alot of my pictures because he set the lens to manual mode and didn't tell me. He told me I should of read the directions, ummmmm like that would help! Geeze. so I got alot of pictures like this. Which would of been a good picture if not for a blur. The second house is the one we stayed in. The boy is my nephew Cole.

My sister says that I never post good pictures of her. Here you go Kristi.

Now a I think a really good picture of Kristi is one that we can drool over her husband in it. she thought I was just taking a picture of her ;)

I always tell Aysha I'm going to find her a new Daddy, one that will take her more places. So here is her new Daddy, Krisit's husband!! lol (Course Kristi, thinks she should be her new mommy too)

Aysha's says "This is why I'm getting a new daddy!" "Wake up Daddy, we are in the mountains, lets go for a walk, we can't spend all day playing your PS3 on the Big screen. Even though I know you really want a big TV now and am begging mom to put one in our 5x5 front room"

Aysha "Course maybe I will take Kristi as my new mom, cause my mom is weird, sittin up on that bar with the coffee drink. My daddy also takes really bad pictures doesn't he?"

Grandpa Orval says "I had that 9 foot trout right up to the rock, before he slipped away"

But my mom loves her story telling man anyway!! lol

"Look Mommie, daddy took a picture and got everyone in it, wow. Maybe I'll keep him as my daddy."

Why do my girls have to do be weird posers for pictures?

Well that is all for now folks, I've still got a few more vacation post. I will leave you with these last pictures of Cheyenne's triumph to get to the ROCK!
