Don't you wish you were all this cool!

Tomorrow is Cheyenne's 16th birthday so this weekend we grabbed my little SIL whom is Cheyenne's best friend to celebrate. I wanted the girls to have a memorable night so we spent it at........................................

the Laundromat, cause I'm such a rocking mom!

Now it ain't all that bad, cause between slaving away at washing and folding clothes (from 8pm til 1030pm), they got to play bumper baskets...

Now today, I did decide to take them out to eat. Yes, I know that nothing could top yesterdays fun. We went to HuHot where we were lucky enough to arrive during the busiest time, and got to sit outside with those little pager do dads. The girls posed for the pictures while the sun burned down on their vampire white skin. Hey nothing like getting a burn waiting for some food.

Mercede was bummed to find out that the cigarettes she found on the bench were empty, but she did enjoy showing us what she planned to do in a week when she turns 18.

We finally get in after obtaining 3rd degree burns, and the girls headed to the line to get their food cooked.

Aw girls, they so sweet, and the guys in back of them are cooking our food. Yum

I didn't realize they were cooking our food in sweat, until I took this photo, and the grill....are there even words??????

Mercede says"Thanks for the food that makes me poop!"

Aidan and Cheyenne dreaming of doing laundry again!

Hope Cheyenne enjoyed her early birthday weekend, cause all she gets tomorrow is a spotlight on my blog ;)

I love your photo story. You should make it into a little book.

I would have never thought the laundromat could be so much fun. I want to go for a ride!

Hope you didn't notice the sweat and the grill until after you ate. Ew.

I sure hope vampire pale skin becomes the new tan because we're all over that.

I hope tomorrow's birthday can top the party. Enjoy!

The photo of your daughter fake smoking. I. Was. Rolling. So funny. My daughter likes the candy cigarettes that puff out powdered sugar when you blow on them. Not looking forward to...what did you call it? Eighteen?

Happy Birthday to Cheyenne. Who knew the laundromat had rides? I know two kids around here who won't be disappointed at their next birthdays.

Thanks for your comments on my Olympic blogging. I think they always showered, but it used to not get so much camera time.

I wish I could get my boys to be so excited about doing laundry!

Sweaty guy = ewwww although I think Mercede's poop comment makes up for it! So priceless! Gotta love pure honesty. :D

you are an inspiration. I dont say that because of what you "put up with" as other people might say....i say that because of how you LOVE. I think ALL children are a blessing from God. Having DS makes them no less human. Thank you for blessing me with your story and your life. Your girls are BEAUTIFUL!!!

That would be a perfect birthday for me, as long as someone else did my laundry, then folded and put it away also. Oh, a girl can dream!

I love the bumper buggies. And going out to eat used to be my favorite birthday thing to do until I had gastric bypass surgery. Now my birthday gets passed by cause I don't eat and can't have cake. I would love to have a birthday like that. The food "not the sweat" looked good.

Happy SITS day.

I love when people can have fun wherever they are and whatever they are doing! We do things like that all the time.
I am going to add you to my blog list so I can keep up with those adorable girls.
Oh, and EWWWWW on the sweat! That's just NASTY!

I can't look at the picture of your girls without falling instantly in love. I have always held a special place in my heart for children with Down's Syndrome...actually special needs children in general. It should have come at no surprise to me, that we would deliver a litte guy with special needs. When the doctor told me that Blake would be born with Spina Bifida I freaked and actually said, "Had you told me he had Downs I would be fine." I just didn't know enough about Spina Bifida to be comfortable right away. These special 'little ones' are precious and we are enjoying ours as much as you are enjoying yours! Thanks for your blog!

Birthday at the laundromat...are you preparing her for motherhood? Isn't that how we mothers all spend our birthdays? Doing laundry, making dinners, changing diapers....

Too cute!

Laundry birthdays are the best. Laundry bumper carts, you've got to be the coolest mom ever. I love your daughter's comment about the food that makes her poop. Wonder if it's all the sweat that goes in to cooking it?

I've always wanted to visit one of these restaurants where you bring your food up in a bowl like that and then they cook it! It seems like fun.... despite the filthy grill... And the back sweat. Can we just pretend we didn't see that?
