Is this a different form of Re Gifting?

This is the look on Cheyenne's face two years ago when she got a cell phone for Christmas. Unfortunately, the phone didn't stay her's long. She would call my sister at 1am and for some reason, I felt the need to carry two phones on me at all times. Then Child Husband took the phone. Well, she needs a phone. We don't have a house phone, so this year she is getting a cell phone again. Only it isn't a new phone, it is one I have had around, but it hasn't been used much. I'm going to decorate it with some bling, so it looks cool.

I'm wondering if she will have that same look on her face. Or will it be a shrug and a bland "Gee thanks Mom"

  3. Good luck with the ice storm. We never did get what they said last night, but now tonight they are talking freezing rain but nothing too bad. Hope you don't lose power. I busted my ass tonight getting out of the car. Right after hubby said "be careful, it's icy", *bam* right on my ass. That's gonna leave a mark.

  7. I love the look on her face, you can tell that she was truly excited!!

I think she's getting the same one that I used to have. Is it by chance an LG model by AT&T?
I took pink stones for bling and decorated the cover. It lasted until the then 2 yr old decided she wanted to place phone and bling into her mouth ALL OF THE TIME. Hopefully your phone will fare better!

1 AM phone calls..maybe you should give her the number to someone you really dont like!

  27. She will be excited to have a phone again for sure. He he, 1 am phone calls - oh dear. That was two years ago so hopefully her excitement in having her own phone wont result in late night and early morning phone calls to family. Take a photo though wont you?

  30. I'm sure she'll be excited...especially if you bling it out...now ya gotta hope she makes calls a bit earlier in the evening....although I get calls from my kids all the time...they are two hours behind..so when the phone rings at midnight..they think it's only 10 o'clock. You'd think they could figure it out by now lol.
