But since I don' t partake in spirits, I'll settle for the Diet Moutain Dew beside me. Now it will do nothing to calm my nerves, but at least I can truefully spout out my favorite line from Talladega Nights "I'm all jacked up on Mountain Dew"
Today was my one day off, my one day to do some housework and spend time with the kids. I've been helping out at some other homes lately and am averaging 80 hours a week right now. If you saw my blog post about what happens when I am gone, imagine this times 5 (one of the 6 days I work, my girls stay at a sisters home). I haven't had time for anything but sleep and work lately. but today I need to clean the mess the girls and my biggest kid Child Husband made. By 2pm, I had already gotten EIGHT calls from my staff. Finally by 4pm, I was getting pretty annoyed and my staff now know it. lol But I couldn't get a thing done. But it is my fault, I told my staff to always feel free to call me. Now they know I lied!!
Also why is my four year old reverting to two year old tantrums??? She threw herself down on the grocery store floor over two times. She didn't even do this when she was two. It was down right embarrassing and I hope that her not getting the candy will prevent this in the future.
My house is a mess, it will remain so for life I guess. I'm going to try and read some blogs. I have to attend early service at Church tomorrow and then off to work for the next 12 hours. I think I figured out Mr Linky. It only took me a few hours (insert a drink here). If you were wanting to partispate in the We Were The 80's Day, then click HERE. And see if Mr Linky is working. Also, if you do drink, have a drink for me!
Wait, hold that drink, SITS is giving away a Bissel vacuum. I had just finished this post and went over there and saw this! Okay, I could really use that, as my girls love to dump stuff all over the floor. Things like tiny rocks. I go though vacuums faster than Sara Palin's say Maverick. (I actually love her, but hate that word).
Now if I could just get Heather and Tiffany to include George Clooney pushing that vaccuum cross my floor!

14 people I pay to talk to me:
I'm sorry...I was gone all day and didn't get anything ready :( But I'm looking forward to reading the others though!
I'm having some Chianit for you right now!
Sorry to hear you are having a rough week. Hope everythings get better and you get some rest.
TFS -- I did a post several months ago about the 80's I may link that one.
Much Love
Anissa
Thanks for visiting my blog. I have read yours from my sister, Heather many times but don't leave a lot of comments because I didn't blog, so look to hear more from me!
I LOVED the 80's picture. And do tell, HOW did you get arrested?
well, my house and life will be more 'normal' in like 20 years...until then, it's gonna be messy.
A house is made of brick and stone a home is made of love alone!
leave the mess-enjoy life!
Oh girl....If I lived close to you I would come & help you clean. You need a break...12 hour shifts....80 hours a week. Geez, I'm worn out reading about it.
I'll have a glass of Pinot Grigio tonight just for you!
hello...you're having a hard week, but will not be the drink that will make you feel better, relax a little, have some free time to enjoy his beautiful family, this is the greatest gift that we can have!
bye...
Karine
I've missed ya! Take some time out for yourself! Put your feet up while Doin' the Dew!
Now let me tell you if George Clooney was invovled in that prize then I would have to fight you to the death - I love George (and Richard Gere strangely).
Oh you poor thing - you are trying to do it all arent you and thats horrible that your staff are in contact all the time. I mean I know they probably dont mean to interrupt but thats what happens.
I think accepting that your house is never going to be as tidy as you would like is a good thing. You are super woman obviously but not a miracle worker.
Just choose to be selective in terms of what you see in your house. And as for your four year old. I seem to recall my daughter was shocking in supermarkets at four - she never went through the terrible twos but four sticks out in my memory - yes lying on the floor in supermarkets being one of her tricks. She got better eventually as they do.
Have a restful week if you can and if you cant I always find adding some alcohol to that Mountain Dew does the trick (you wont taste a thing but you will get all the benefits)!!
I love it when life is so busy you cant breath!! LOL
All joking aside I hope that you can take a break and get your house in order soon.
Yiks, it sounds like you had a seriously crazy week. I had a crazy one last week and will be having another one this week.
Hope you get a well deserved break sometime soon!! I think with kids, the house will never seem clean!! I don't think mine will anyway, and right now, I only have one! :)
HEY - NO wishing for GEORGE unless it is for him to come to MY house, dagnabit!
Don't make me come over there - I'm still spitting mad over the ridiculousness with my kiddo's IEP and the idiots at the Special Ed office, so I'm good and fired up and looking for a fight! And yes, George is enough reason to take you on! }:)
In other news, I just popped over here to check on in the 80s post for tomorrow - working on mine now and making sure it's still happening! I'll find Mr. Linky once I've got it finished........
