Turning 40 Sucks

It's taken me almost a week to recover from turning 40 on Labor Day. Mercede turned 18 the same day. We had a Luau party to celebrate. Here is my fab punch bowl, it bled the punch out of the eyes, I'm not sure if you can see that fly in it or not. Sadly there was no alcohol in it :( Just flies.
My Child Husband grilled (which = charred food). This was the only picture we got of Child Husband because Child Husband got "hot" he had to drive around in the air conditioning and miss most of his wife's birthday(probably his excuse to go find a younger woman.) Child Husband's brother Quinton sported a lovely apron, are you eyeing his coconuts? He is single.



We had a pinata, and the body fell off (with candy intact), so I rigged it up, cause I am so clever. Thats my lit BIL Devin swinging his invisible bat. He has super powers.



Cheyenne sang Karaoke, she has a wonderful singing voice that matches Pierce Bronson's (in Mama Mia).



After suffering listening to her sing songs like "Don't you wish your girlfriend could be HOT like me." She turned to her "boyfriend" (this is what she refers to him as..... on the days that she isn't screaming she hates him) and said "I love you Tim". Notice the creeps my father and sister catching the moment on camera. They got a competition going to see who can photofake the most photo's )




My SIL Scott made it to the party with my Lil SIL Aidan. Scott's man who turned 30 that day couldn't make the party, he had to babysit the youngest two kids. Cause Scott knows how to treat her man right! Aidan's face was swollen cause she had some contagious childhood disease. Thanks again for coming to the party Aidan, we're so glad you made it. I was really hoping one of the kids would get that cool left eye almost sealed shut look. (I kid I kid, she was past the infectious stage).

My nephew Cole wondering if the party will ever end. My father looking like he's plotting on how to make the party end.


Isn't it great, now my MIL and I are both in our 40's. I'm the one on the right, yes I know that I look the oldest, but I am not. That witch, She will be 50 in a few years.



Child Husband is like something like 49 years younger than my mother. Does that make you feel old, mom? I know your thanking the lord for making you look young, why didn't you pass that gene down to me??? (mom was embarrassed of how old I looked and told me to take my glasses off for the photo, she didn't pass the "don't have to wear glasses until I am old as dirt" gene down to me either)


There was a lake right next to us. I wanted to keep everyone busy running after their kids while I went thru their purses. Course that doesn't work with my SIL Scott, cause she expects everyone else to keep an eye on her son, "Aysha your not doing a good job of keeping Jason away from the water" But that is okay,I needed an extra hand digging thru my mom's purse.

My sister pointed it out that my father is taking pictures of our bottoms in this picture. Your really weird dad!


But we are all kinda weird aren't we
